Show them the picture and –over three days– ask them to write three separate stories:

• Day 1: The picture occurs at the very beginning of the story.
• Day 2: The picture occurs at the conclusion of the story.
• Day 3: Wherein the picture occurs in the middle of the story!
• Day 4 - 5: Choose one story to revise.
