The State of Florida administers periodic tests designed to measure student’s aptitude in aligned curriculum and measure the effectiveness of Florida teachers and schools. These Florida Comprehensive Achievement Tests (FCAT) also provide educators with valuable information necessary to improve educational programs. Students in grades three through ten are required to complete tests in math and reading.
